However, adults should have a greater focus on maintaining and improving their mental health. The reason being is they are more likely to have stressors in life such as a demanding job or career, continuing their education, taking care of their children, and even taking care of their own parents. 

How to work on our mental Health

Talking

Having someone you can talk to is essential in maintaining a solid mental health. Talking about your feelings and what is bothering you can help tremendously.

Exercising

Exercising can help boost your self esteem. It is also known to help with studying and keeping yourself concentrated. Another positive is that it will help with sleeping which will help you feel better. Physical activity and exercise have been reported to help with depression, anxiety, cognition, and other mental health problems, with the best evidence for depression 

Eating well

It is important we take care of our diet. The better we eat the better we will feel. Our bodies require a balanced diet to get all the nutrients we need to keep us looking well and feeling well.

Supplements for mental health

There are many natural supplements that can be taken for ones mental health that can be purchased over the counter. These drugs are over the counter in the form of homeopathic supplements. Homeopathic is pseudoscientific meaning there is not much scientific studies on if the supplement is capable of making or performing drastic changes to ones health; however they are safe enough, using the recommended dosage, to have available in your local grocery store aisle. Please do know that it is highly suggested to talk to a healthcare provider for some over the counter supplements can interact with other prescribed medications or supplements.
